Breitling is a Swiss luxury watch brand founded in 1884 in Saint Imier, Switzerland, by Leon Breitling. The company is known for its precision-made Chronometers designed for aviation and are based in Grenchen, Switzerland.
In 1962, Lt. Commander Scott Carpenter orbited the earth three times while wearing a slightly modified Breitling, dubbed the Navitimer Cosmonaute.
