New Watches

Michael Matthews Jewellery Ltd is an official and authorised stockist of all brands of new watches offered for sale. All of our new watches are accompanied with their full official documentation and presentation boxes, including the Manufacturer’s guarantee/warranty documentation - all of which have our official stamp (required to validate any watch manufacturer’s guarantee). Any ‘new’ watches purchased from non-official agents or without officially stamped documentation may not therefore be considered as having a valid guarantee by a given watch manufacturer.

Our status as an ‘authorised stockist’ enables us to sell all of our new watches with the full co-operation of the given watch manufacturer/brand and we are therefore able to fulfil the complete transaction experience including undertaking all after-sales services, again with the complete co-operation of the given manufacturer. We would also therefore be happy to assist should you be in the unfortunate position regarding any watch, of which we are an authorised stockist, requiring inspection under it’s manufacturers guarantee regardless of whether the watch was purchased from us or not, providing that that the watch is accompanied by an official and stamped manufacturers warranty/guarantee ­ please note that this will be at the discretion of the manufacturer rather than that of Michael Matthews Jewellery Ltd.

You can also be assured of the very best customer service at Michael Matthews with the knowledge that the watch manufacturers themselves provide our staff with continual and up-to-date product training.

Pre-Owned Watches

These are watches that have been owned and worn by a previous owner ­they are second hand. All our Pre-Owned Watches are serviced and refurbished where possible and are sold accompanied by a 12month guarantee through Michael Matthews Jewellery Ltd. Any damage resulting from inappropriate use is specifically excluded from the warranty, as are the battery, strap or bracelet, and glass.

At Michael Matthews we are happy to undertake after-sales services for pre-owned watches. Servicing and repairs are also accompanied by a 12month Michael Matthews warranty.

The images shown of our Pre-Owned Watches are the actual watches available for purchase and therefore offer a true reflection of the condition of the watch.

Watch Repairs ­ We offer a full range of watch repairs, servicing and refurbishment. We are able to undertake works to most major brands.

Watch Re-finishing ­ We offer an excellent full watch case and bracelet refurbishment service

Jewellery Repairs - We offer a full jewellery repair service including ring sizing and stone replacement (both sourcing and setting of stones).
