U-Boat Ladies Watches

The original U-Boat watch took inspiration from a watch designed for the officers of the Italian Navy who commanded the country's royal U-Boats. The original design was never produced, but more than 60 years later Italo Fontana decided to develop his grandfather's design, taking inspiration from the original drawings, colour samples and innovative materials to develop the idea of the U-Boat watch. U-Boat watches, just like their original namesake, are bold, sturdy and oversized, embodying the spirit and style of the original brief, and yet revealing the unique style and personality of the man behind the revival, Italo Fontana.
